Jacques, because he’s so ‘tati’. He has a lovely wife, with a white feather in her tail (she’s shy, but not especially cowardly) and four enormous offspring. Jacques has an insatiable appetite for mealworms, Warburton’s bread and cat food and often hops into the kitchen to eat from Stub’s bowl. He’s a feisty little chap who enjoys picking fights with Starlings and felines; Stub is terrified of him and won’t go out when he’s there. If we forget to put breakfast out for him, when he’s fed everything out there to his brood of huge children, he comes and taps on the window, to remind us.
